Thompson versus rest of the world

London United Basketball Club

Kai-Ern Thompson is continuing his one man crusade to carry Haydon High School to the top of the Big East Division. In their last game they overcome Greenford High School in heart stopping form 40-39. The game was an incredibly close encounter where neither team could reach a lead bigger than 4 points. A very athletic Greenford team led by Sparsh Paul and Ryan Leung was able to offer a very balanced offensive threat but could not match powerful Thompson on both boards. In a nail biting finale of the game Greenford had 10 seconds to launch a winning shot but their last attempt bounced off the rim allowing Haydon to take the place on the summit of the Big East division.

In the other game in the same division, Alec Reed Academy outlasted Cardinal Wiseman CofE High School 38-30. Almost the entire offence of Alec Reed Academy was engineered by the creative duo of Dominic Kolesnikovas and Daniel Amah. Gracjan Skorzewski and Jacob Oliva has marshalled Wiseman offence in a very intelligent way but they struggled to stop athletic Amah on both boards

In the only game in the Wild West Division Brentside High School overcame Twyford Cof E High School 38-5.
