Academy

For our 16-19 aged performers London United is very proud of their Sporting Excellence Academy Programme. The programme gives the opportunity for aspiring basketball athletes to have daily access to high quality coaching and an elite competition programme alongside a full time academic provision.

Our programme has a strong history of delivering full time academy basketball programmes and providing unique opportunities, experiences and exposure for the young student athletes.

The programme allows school leavers aged 16-19 to continue their education alongside their athletic development. Students have the opportunity to complete a Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport and a variety of A Levels. The programme takes place at Northolt High School which has an excellent record of sixth form education results.

The programme is delivered in partnership with Movistar Estudiantes, Madrid. In addition to Estudiantes providing the Head Coach, our academy will benefit from frequent visits from the Director of Development of Movistar Estudiantes among other coaching staff who will play a very active role in the design and delivery of our programme.
