Win a trip to Madrid for a camp with Movistar Estudiantes
The Future Stars Summer Camp will take place from 9th to 13th August 2021 with sessions taking place 10am to 3pm.
The camp is run in partnership with Movistar Estudiantes Madrid who are one of the most storied clubs in Spanish basketball history. Estudiantes has an outstanding tradition of developing and nurturing young talent into major stars in both top European leagues and the NBA. Among the plethora of international stars who have launched their stellar careers at Estudiantes are; Alberto Herreros, Alfonso Reyes, Felipe Reyes, Carlos Jimenez, Sergio Rodriguez, Juan Hermangomez, and Great Britain co-captain Dan Clark, who moved to Spain as a teenager. The true scale of the development programme at Estudiantes is best illustrated by the fact that they boast over 2000 young players participating in various junior competitions.
Players attending the Future Stars Summer Camp will benefit from the expertise of International Coaches and specialist strength and conditioning staff with experience working with Senior men’s basketball National Teams. The camp will consist of sessions focused on individual technical skills, team based training, All star games and basketball specific strength and conditioning work,
Camp attendees will have the chance to win one of two available places for an all-expenses paid trip (flights, accommodation and training) to a try-out camp in Madrid with Movistar Estudiantes to benefit from the expertise of their development programme.
The camp is available for players in either the 13-15 year old or 16-17 year old age groups. The camp costs £90 for the full week or £25 per day and will take place at Northolt High School, Eastcote Lane, Northolt, UB5 4HP.
Players booking for a full week will receive a t-shirt included in the cost.
